Welcome to the South Castle Honey website terms and conditions for use. These terms and conditions apply to the use of this Website and by accessing this Website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions you may not use or access this Website.
South Castle Honey reserve the right to change prices, stock availability and or other information contained herein without prior notice.
South Castle Honey accepts no responsibility for any losses, claims, damages, costs, charges, expenses, liabilities, demands, proceedings and actions which persons using this website may sustain or incur or which may be brought or established against it by any person and any case which arises out or in relation to or by reason of their use of this website. 


Collection of personal Data.
Our website does not currently use cookies. We do collect data from you, but this is openly done in forms, such as our checkout area and our login and sign up area on our site. You are welcome to ask us about the information we have stored about you and can request for us to remove this at any time. When you have offered us your personal details in the checkout process, we will only ever use it to process and track your order. We do not store your payment details. 


Email marketing and Newsletter
We have a double opt in process for our newsletter. If you sign up to our newsletter, we will store the contact information provided. We will only use this to send out you our newsletters which will contain help, advice and details of our products on promotion. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link on the bottom of the newsletter. We never share your data with any third parties.


Delivery Information
Orders are dispatched Monday-Friday, excluding UK Bank Holidays. Orders placed after 13:00 GMT will be dispatched the next working day (Monday - Friday). Orders placed on a Friday after 13:00 GMT will be dispatched on the following Monday (or next working day if Monday is a UK public holiday). We aim to dispatch and process orders within 1 working day of the order being placed. Once your order has been processed, we are unable to cancel or amend your order or address.
South Castle Honey cannot be held responsible for delays to deliveries caused by couriers or any other third party.
Postage and packing will be applied to each item in accordance with South Castle Honey standard delivery rates and policies, or the participating third-party delivery courier rates and policies, as applicable.
All shipping charges are subject to change and unless the order qualifies for free shipping (see terms and conditions) the customer will be charged for the cost of shipping their items.


UK
Orders weighing less than 6kg are sent via Royal Mail 2nd Class unless specified otherwise, this service can take up to 3-5 working days.
To keep our shipping costs down, your order may be split into multiple parcels, in this instance parcels will clearly be labelled parcel 1 of 2 and so on.


Surcharged postcodes within the UK
Please note there may be an additional shipping charge (as stated during the checkout) on items to Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and Islands, Isles of Scilly, Channel Islands, and offshore islands.
In the instance that the shipping rate needs to be amended South Castle Honey will contact the customer within two working days to resolve the shipping issues.

Our free shipping for orders over £100 applies to UK customers excluding areas within the postcodes above under the section 'Surcharged postcodes within the UK'

Estimated Delivery Information:
We aim to process and dispatch your order within 1 working day (Monday - Friday), the estimated delivery dates provided during the checkout are applicable once the order is dispatched and forwarded to the carrier. 
If you place your order after 13:00 GMT your order will be dispatched the following working day (Monday-Friday).
Please note, we process orders over the weekend and Bank Holidays, you will receive an automated email stating your order has been shipped. However, your order will not be dispatched until the next working day. Orders placed on a Friday after 13:00 GMT will be dispatched on the following Monday (or next working day if Monday is a UK public holiday - Tuesday). 


What is your returns policy?
Returning an unwanted item?
You can return any item within 30 days, including sale items or items purchased with promotional discounts. Your 30 days start from the date on your receipt, or from the date when you received/collected any items you bought online.
Items must be in their original condition, unopened, and unused, with the tamper proof label intact.
All refunds will be issued to the original method of payment and in the original tender currency (unless otherwise stated).
Please note: We are unable to accept any items that have been returned outside of the time period above, or that are in an unsellable condition. Any items returned outside of this timeframe will be returned to you. The above returns options refer to change of mind only and does not affect the statutory rights you have as a consumer e.g. the right to cancel, or the right to return items, which are faulty or not as described or a general right to return most online purchases under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.


How to return an item
It is easy to return your order. You can return the items via Royal Mail.
All you need is your order number, email address and the reason for your return.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 15 working days of the items being returned to us. 


There is an issue with my order
I would like to cancel my order:
You have the legal right to cancel your order within fourteen days, without giving a reason. 
This cancellation period of fourteen days starts with the day you or a person of your choice, who is not the deliverer, have/has received the goods.
To apply your legal right to cancel you need to contact us with a clear statement, by e-mail to sales@southcastlehoney.co.uk, and let us know about your decision to cancel this contract. 
The item, where possible, must be returned in its original condition for exchange or refund at our discretion.


What to do if you are missing items, or received the incorrect items in your order
In the unfortunate event where you are missing items from your order, or you have received the wrong items please can you contact us immediately when you receive your order by e-mail to sales@southcastlehoney.co.uk.
We request that all orders are thoroughly checked when they arrive, so that we can resolve any issues swiftly.
If you do not report an issue within 30 working days of receiving the order, we may be unable to resolve the issue.
